Just go back and put one little more happy tree in there. Little short strokes. It’s a very cold picture, I may have to go get my coat. It’s about to freeze me to death. A fan brush can be your best friend. This is a fantastic little painting. There is no right or wrong – as long as it makes you happy and doesn’t hurt anyone. I spend a lot of time walking around in the woods and talking to trees, and squirrels, and little rabbits and stuff. This is probably the greatest thing to happen in my life – to be able to share this with you. Zip. That easy. Be brave.

In nature, dead trees are just as normal as live trees. Now then, let’s play. But we’re not there yet, so we don’t need to worry about it. This is gonna be a happy little seascape.

We’ll put a happy little sky in here. You’re meant to have fun in life. In your imagination you can go anywhere you want. Let’s build some happy little clouds up here. Paint anything you want on the canvas. Create your own world. It’s amazing what you can do with a little love in your heart. But they’re very easily killed happy. Clouds are delicate. Everything is happy if you choose to make it that way. You can do it.
